Gero is a co-founder of Program Framework, a Microsoft Partner who specializes in transforming Project Portfolio and Risk management with Microsoft cloud technologies. Having worked with hundreds of organisations over the years, he has a deep understanding of the tools needed by PMOs to become strategic business partners, rather than stagnating as mere admin functions drowning in spreadsheets.
PMO leaders nowadays recognize that it takes a data-driven approach to elevate a PMO, but they may not realize that the Microsoft cloud platform already in place in their organization is ideally equipped to deliver it. Much of Gero’s work is about explaining how modern Microsoft cloud technologies can be applied to solve project portfolio management challenges, and he is also one of the designers of Program Framework’s flagship PPM product, Power Framework, built in the Microsoft Power platform.
