Steve is the author of, and chief examiner for, the APM Group’s Managing Benefits™ and Managing Portfolios™. He is also co-author of the OGC/Axelos, Management of Portfolios and he was Chief Examiner for MoP® from 2011-2015. Steve gained extensive management experience as a member of the UK Senior Civil Service and was described by the UK Government CIO as the, 'rottweiler of benefits management'. Since leaving the UK government Steve has provided independent portfolio and benefits management advice and training to a range of organizations in both the public and private sectors – in the UK, but mostly abroad. He also develops and delivers Masters and Executive-level courses for the Graduate Business School at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Steve is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences, trainer and writer on the subjects of project portfolio and benefits management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, holds an MBA, and Masters of Studies degree from Cambridge University.

Dr. Tony Prensa is a renowned executive and leader in Project Management Office (PMO), project and portfolio management, and information systems and technologies. With a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and certifications as a PMO Professional, PMP, ITILIV, and in agile approaches such as Scrum and Kanban, Dr. Prensa has a proven record of driving efficiency and growth through strategic IT implementations and business process reengineering. Dr. Prensa has successfully delivered numerous high-stakes projects on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and IT governance. His strong leadership skills have empowered teams and fostered productive relationships with stakeholders, consultants, partners, and vendors. Dr. Prensa is also an experienced educator with over 30 years in academia, teaching project management, leadership and management, software engineering, power skills, and emotional intelligence. A master in gamification, he uses this innovative tool to enhance student and participant engagement. Additionally, he is an Authorized Training Partner of PMI, further extending his influence and commitment to the field. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Prensa is a global speaker who has delivered impactful presentations across Latin America, the USA, Europe, and EMEA. As a dedicated PMI member, former VP of the PMI Puerto Rico Chapter, and contributor to the PMP exam development, Dr. Prensa has significantly influenced the field.
